Alex brings a mix of investing and operating experience to his role at Confluence Point. Alex was a Co-Founder of The Village Ledger, a software solution for the residential services industry, and SVP of Corporate Development at Swiftline Corp., a commerce technology platform. Prior to his operating roles, Alex was a private equity investor for a decade, primarily at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe ($31B AUM), where he was a Principal in the Technology Group. Alex also held roles at Vestar Capital Partners ($11B AUM private equity firm) and Madison Dearborn Partners ($31B AUM private equity firm) and Bank of America Merrill Lynch Investment Banking.
Alex received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BSFS from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
A New Jersey native, Alex now lives in Westchester County, NY with his family. Alex spends his free time chasing his kids around, coaching youth lacrosse and hockey, and playing tennis and golf.

Doug has spent his career at several leading financial institutions and brings a mix of investing, strategy, and execution experience to Confluence Point. Prior to co-founding Confluence Point, Doug was a Director in the Technology Private Equity Group at CVC Capital Partners ($200B AUM multi-strategy asset manager) and a founding member of CVC Growth Partners, CVC’s $2.6B AUM middle market technology strategy. Doug was born and raised in the New York area and currently lives with his family in Fairfield County, CT. Outside of work, Doug is a passionate fly fisherman and aspiring golfer.
